£30,000 basic £50,000 OTE
Having made the transition from being a traditional printer to offering multi-media marketing solutions, print now forms 50% of the business, with digital solutions leading the company’s focus.
The internal sales person forms a vital commercial and communication channel, working closely with external colleagues to help achieve sales objectives. The internal sales person is responsible for day to day transactional sales, handling reactive sales enquiries, and uncovering new business opportunity. In addition, they provide an office based support function for field colleagues.
To work closely with all members of the internal and external sales team and drive delivery of both the monthly and annual sales target.
To maintain a professional attitude and stay customer focused at all times
Ensure you continually develop and improve own knowledge, skills and behaviours to help maximise your own performance
Support the Account Managers in developing business and to manage your internal responsibilities, product targets and pipeline
Provide information and take orders from incoming calls
Chase opportunities where requested to do so
Use of internal systems will also be essential, ensuring that all opportunities are tracked whilst producing quotations, proposals and information packs where necessary
Support the Sales team and other colleagues’ relationships with customers to develop long-term loyalty, profitability and grow the net worth of the business
Previous proven successful internal sales experience would be useful
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to build strong customer relationships
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
Confidence in the use of IT for business purposes
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
